Nan Zhao obtained her bachelor's degree from Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology in July 2005, and worked in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences since August 2005. She studied analytical chemistry in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from September 2016 to December 2019, and obtained a master of Science degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2020. She has been engaged in work about metabonomics, peptidomics, drug food homologous product development and LC-MS maintenance. She has participated in a number of national, provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, including general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and major scientific and technological projects of major new drug creation. 13 SCI papers have been published in journals such as Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Journal of Ginseng Research and Proteomics and 6 invention patents have been granted.
