Dr. Xiaozhe Zhang is research professor, doctoral supervisor, winner of talent program of Chinese Academy of Sciences and winner of partner group program of Max-planck institute of Germany. In 2004, he graduated from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He studied at Max-planck Institute of biological cybernetics in Germany and Fribourg University in Switzerland. He was engaged in the research of biological detection and data mining, focusing on the cross field of mass spectrometry, biology and computation. He returned to China in 2013 and was selected as research professor and doctoral supervisor in 2015. He has published more than 40 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, such as Molecular & Cellular Proteomics, Analytical Chemistry and Journal of Proteome Research, and applied for and was granted more than 60 patents. He has presided over or participated in more than 10 Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Key International Cooperation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation and enterprise cooperation program. His research direction is artificial intelligence, mass spectrometry imaging and peptide development.
