In 1999, he received the Bachelor degree from the Department of Chemistry, Northwestern University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. Since March 2005, he worked at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and was promoted to professor in 2013. He is mainly engaged in the research on proteomics sample pretreatment, multidimensional liquid chromatography platform construction, on-line chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and so on. He undertook and participated in many projects, such as National key scientific instruments and equipment development in 12th Five-Year plan, National Key Technology Support Program, 973 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC), Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and so on. He has published more than 80 articles in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Communications and other journals, applied He applied for more than 20 domestic or foreign patents and involved in the preparation of two books.
