She graduated from Department of Chemistry, Jilin University in 1995. In the same year, she entered the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue a doctorate degree under the supervision of academician Yukui Zhang and mainly carried out the basic theory and new technology of capillary electrochromatography. She went to the National Center for the Environment and Health in Germany in 1999 and worked on capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry for the analysis of metalloproteins under the supervision of Professor A. Kettrup. She received the Ph.D degree in 2000. She got postdoctoral training in Tokushima University and engaged in rapid analysis of genome work from 2001 to March, 2013 in Japan. In April 2003, she returned to the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was selected in "Hundred Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. She got merit support from “Hundred Talents Program" and was promoted to professor and group leader in 2005. She has also received several research awards, including National Natural Science Award (Second Grade), Natural Science Award of Liaoning Provence (First Grade), China Analysis and Testing Association CAIA( First Grade) and China Chemical Society Youth in Chemistry Award. In 2012, she was selected as "Youth Science and technology innovation leader leader" by Ministry of Science and Technology (Ten Thousand Talents Program). She has published more than 200 SCI articles and applied for more than 50 patents with more than 20 patents authorized. She was involved in the preparation of seven books in Chinese or English. She is the chief editor of Alalytical Bioanalytical Chemistry in China regional and editors of Scientific Report, Proteomics and Chinese Journal of Chromatography.

Main research interest: Sample pretreatment and new separation materials; Multidimensional and Multi-mode Liquid Phase Separation Technology; High Sensitivity Detection and Identification Method; Integrated platform for high throughput analysis; New Methods for Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Proteome.
